
The DLDC has IMI development capability at Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Center, Johnston, IA, and Camp Robinson, AR, and develops courses in the following priority training areas:
• Pre- and Post-Mobilization Training
• Military Occupational Specialty Training
• Functional Courses
• Professional Military Education
The DLDC offers several advantages to any proponent interested in developing a DL course:
• Dedicated future plans team to assist in scoping of potential DL projects
• Possible funding sources; contingent upon ARNG benefit and approval
• Deliberate, tested, and proven DL development process through delivery and maintenance
• Fast project development timelines; potentially within months from start time
• Access to pool of Army Training and Doctrine Command-approved instructional Subject Matter Experts as needed
• Industry-leading DL courseware developer with expanded reach-back capacity
• Independent validation and verification services for each project
• Delivery of all final DL products in two forms: placement on LMS and CD-ROM
The DL Branch performs the following for the DLDC:
• Performs strategic planning and assists with courseware nomination process
• Provides administration and management oversight
• Develops budget guidance and authorizes resources for courseware development
