Distributed Learning Development Center
The DLDC has IMI development capability at Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Center, Johnston, IA, and Camp Robinson, AR, and develops courses in the following priority training areas:

  Pre- and Post-Mobilization Training
  Military Occupational Specialty  Training
  Functional Courses
  Professional Military Education

The DLDC offers several advantages to any proponent interested in developing a DL course:

  Dedicated future plans team to assist in scoping of potential DL projects
  Possible funding sources; contingent upon ARNG benefit and approval
  Deliberate, tested, and proven DL development process through delivery and maintenance
•  Fast project development timelines; potentially within months from start time
  Access to pool of Army Training and Doctrine Command-approved instructional Subject Matter Experts as needed
  Industry-leading DL courseware developer with expanded reach-back capacity
 Independent validation and verification services for each project
  Delivery of all final DL products in two forms: placement on LMS and CD-ROM

The DL Branch performs the following for the DLDC:

  Performs strategic planning and assists with courseware nomination process
  Provides administration and management oversight
  Develops budget guidance and authorizes resources for courseware development
